If you come and stay in my Apartment in Sunny Beach Bulgaria then the first thing you are going to want to do is drop off your luggage and head for the beach.
The beach and waterfront of the Sunny Beach resort is the real jewel in its crown, and is probably the main factor for people making this their destination of choice when considering a holiday in Bulgaria.
Sure it has many other attractions to offer such as a warm climate, modern apartments and hotels, an inexpensive economy, great selection of restaurants and bars, vibrant nightlife and, if you travel just a little further away from the main resort, a unique view of the real Bulgarian community and culture. But it is the attraction of the beach that draws most people to Sunny Beach.
And what a beach it is. Nestled in a gentle bay which stretches from Nessebar in the south and St.Vlas to the north, it boasts 8 km of beautiful soft golden sands. The beach is non tidal and gently shelving so this means clean, safe, warm seas for all to enjoy. Because of this, Sunny Beach has been designated an International Blue Flag beach by the European Union for its high standards of cleanliness.
During the day you can just relax and while away the hours on a shaded sun lounger or alternatively, if you are feeling a little more active, choose from the wide variety of water sports that take place along the beach.
Activities include; paragliding, banana boats, donut rings, jet skis, windsurfing, yachting and water skiing are all available IN the water whilst on the beach itself you can choose activities such as volleyball or horse riding.
If you want a more relaxing and intimate view of the beach then it is best experienced early in the morning before it starts to fill up for the day or later in the evening where you can enjoy some spectacular sunsets across the bay.
